Welcome to the Bethel Church of God website. We hope that your online experience will lead you to come and see for yourself what Bethel is all about. Come and experience a touch from God, be strengthened, renewed and blessed.

 

Our church name is derived from Genesis 28 where Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, "Surely the LORD is in this place”,… Jacob took the stone he had placed under his head and set it up as a pillar and poured oil on top of it….He named that place Bethel (which means "house of God"). 

 

 

Our prayer is that when you visit our church you too can say "Surely the LORD is in this place”. 

We believe our church is a church of prayer and strengthening and no matter where you find yourself today or what season of life you are in, know that you are welcomed at Bethel.

 

Located in Northeast El Paso, near Fort Bliss military installation, one of the largest military installations in the United States, Bethel has become a military contact church and is comprised of many active duty military, retirees, and veterans who live in the community.

 

“Get ready for the Surge” is what God spoke to the church, we believe that through energetic, contemporary praise and worship, and dynamic preaching that surge is being fulfilled. We welcome you to join us and experience a touch from God.
